'til you drop : shopping exhibition melbourne



Finishing up this weekend on October 31st at the State Library is the 'til you drop : shopping exhibition which has been running since December last year. Visit this free exhibition which highlights some of the early characteristics of shopping in Melbourne during the 1880's, focussing on fashion, food and the home. Making special mention of the new Myer store, Collins Street, Bourke Street, Chapel Street and many more iconic shops of the time. Dedicated to Melbourne's growing culture and writing the beginning of early history.
