Earth, we're the only one's to have chocolate

Entry One.

Of late I have been feeling the need to record some of the things crossing my mind.
I had started up this blog in late 2010, which feels like a lot longer ago, hoping to collate some of my favourite fashion inspirations and build a library for others to appreciate in the fashion world.
Since I have not continued on with this experiment successfully and having not really given it a second thought until now, I am taking advantage of this little something I had created. I want to write my thoughts and feelings as my mind races.

I find it difficult to actually jump out of bed on the first alarm that wakes me. I think I am forming a bad habit of hitting the snooze button! But I had a great start to the day. On the treadmill I was listening/watching the morning 'feel good' programs and happen to see that the Chelsea Flower and Garden Show, celebrating its centenary event year, featuring the overall winner to take out the top prize as best designed slice of heaven with the award presented by her majesty. I couldn't help but smile when I was able to see this segment because I felt like i could share some of the joy of the celebration. I enjoy reading the weekend Age newspapers and a couple of weeks ago I read an article focussing on the Aussie bloke who won this years Chelsea Flower Show. This was his tenth year entering the grand spectacular and was as determined as ever to become a significant entrant designing something very special to hopefully win the top prize. He had written to the Queen requesting that she attend and experience their display as it will be there last ever entrance in the show for good. This little piece of information had come full circle and I was very appreciative of the fact that I was in the right place at the right time to see the very positive outcome.

On the way to work I had mostly green lights too - I made great time on the drive and got out of the house early too. Something i find I struggle with of late too! Sometimes it's nice to witness some of the other things in life which people work hard towards and see winning results.
