Melbourne fashion markets scene

Spring is delivering wonders with spectacular weather and the best time to get out and about discovering new markets in Melbourne. One I forgot to mention last time the Round She Goes Fashion Market [http://roundshegoes.com.au/]. It's the perfect time to go and hunt for something vintage and fabulous for the spring racing carnival and get ahead before the crowds stampede through shops and stores searching for last minute accessories and shoes or the perfect dress! A true pre-loved market dedicated to fashion & accessories of all kinds. With over 85 stall holders there should be something for everyone. The next market is on Sunday 17 October at 10am, at the Kingston City Hall (formerly Moorabbin Town Hall) and entry is $2 but there is free parking.

I have also discovered reading the M magazine that there will be an event not to be missed at the Docklands Harbour. The Finders Keepers market [http://thefinderskeepers.com/] which is a rare event and the best part is - FREE entry! Held over two big days the market is something of a new thing to Melbourne. Previously in Sydney & Brisbane the market features a mix of local and interstate design talent offering a broad range of items. Covering fashion, accessories, homewares and much more, plus live music & food. Only a bi-annual event the market is this Saturday & Sunday, October 9-10, starting at 10am in Shed 4 Docklands, Victoria Harbour, North Warf Rd.
