You may have heard of this one in the past like I had - I think on a current affair! Anyway The Clothing Exchange is a great initiative for those of you who don't have bags full of clothes to sell of set up a stall, but rather with those special few pieces [still in great condition] you can trade them for something even better!
This is how it works: the next Melbourne event is held this Monday 25th October, check-in 6.30pm for a 7.30pm swap. You bring along $25 for entry fee and up to 6 garments or fabulous accessories to swap. Head along early so you're garments can get the tick of approval, then you're handed coloured buttons according to the value of each item you have. You have the opportunity, along with everyone else, to hunt through a variety of clothes from designer to unique vintage and good quality basics. Everything is colour coded by the button system and you can only try on 3 things at a time, keeping an even playing field for all. Once you've your chosen beauties head to the check out and enjoy. But if you're think 'what if I don't find anything?' the best advice is to collect at least the same amount of garments to your buttons and swap them at the next event.
